New Alumni Royalty Crowned at Fall Festival 2009
The Klein ISD Education Foundation Fall Festival Founder and Donor Recognition Dinner was held on November 19, 2009 at Klein Collins High School. The chairperson for the event was foundation board member Mrs. Lynell Soltys. In keeping with a long-standing tradition at the original Klein High School, a king and queen were crowned each year at a fall festival. This year’s KISD Fall Festival king and queen are Mrs.Gladys Doerre and Mr. Roger Wunderlich. Dr. Cain reminded the graduates of the original Klein High School who were in attendance that they “laid the path that we walk today. The graduates of the original Klein High School have made the district and our community what it is today.”
