Social Services/Family Support for Klein Families
The United Way is an organization dedicated to the students and families in our attendance zone. Klein ISD has a long tradition of giving to the United Way Social Services with direct benefits to our community. The United Way offers a wide range of social services to meet multiple needs for all ages of individuals. FM 1960 Area
Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) is a community-wide non-profit organization designed to support local families in financial need through a variety of services and direct resources. Klein ISD has partnered with other organizations to provide specific services through NAM, such as gifts at Christmas and immunizations for children in need. Families with financial or unmet medical needs may call 281-583-5600 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday to determine if they qualify for help. NAM may be reached by calling 281-885-4555 or information can be accessed on the NAM website.To receive services, a family must first call for an appointment for a screening. After a family qualifies, services will be provided.

Counselors, Crisis Intervention Counselors and School Nurses
Klein ISD provides a professional counselor and a registered nurse to each school campus. Counselors and school nurses often know of resources or additional support for students in need. Crisis intervention counselors are provided for each high school attendance zone.
