Announcement: 5.15.17 Letter of Reasonable Assurance
If you want to remain on the active sub roster for 2017-18, please complete and return the Letter of Reasonable Assurance by June 15, 2017. This is a two-page document and both pages need to be returned. We also have copies available in HR at Central Office.

Long-Term Substitute Positions Available
The following campuses need long-term subs. If you are interested in working every day for several weeks in the same class, please contact the name listed at each school. Must be a current Klein ISD substitute.

Krahn: 2nd grade 8/14 - 11/1. Elementary certification preferred.

Requirements for Substitute Teacher = Bachelor degree (foreign education must be equivalent of US bachelor degree).
Pay $90/day without Texas teaching certificate, $95/day with Texas teaching certificate.

Requirements for Substitute Education Aide = High School graduate
Pay $80/day for developmental, adaptive behavior or early childhood class, $70/day for all other aides.

We also need certified cosmetology instructors and nurses as substitutes.
